When you're looking at a multi-band equalizer, it is first important to understand that audio processing is an anisotropic, and not isotropic, operation, meaning that the process is applied in a different manner depending on the direction a signal moves through the filter. After this year, the Imperium will begin to recruit new Legions and the Ultramarines will be allowed to recruit Legionaries only from those Space Marine Legions which have reached a size of 10,000. The Ultramarines Legion has been granted a year to raise its Legion size to 10,000, and this year will be used to bring it to that level. However in order to make new Legio Space Marines it will be necessary to raise a minimum Legion size of, at least, 10,000, perhaps 20,000, the minimum size of the bigger Space Marine Legions.

The documents in the possession of the Ultramarines Primarch specify a minimum Legion size of 5000. The cost of replacing the Legion of Space Marines has not been given, although it is possible that marines have been selected from the superior Legions Legiones Astartes to fill the positions vacated. I've never seen this kind of attention to detail in a codex before and I do hope to see more of this. It's a bit of an odd mix but I see it as a kind of homage to the 30's and 40's space opera. You've got the Klingons, a mix of the Federation, Romulans, Wraith and even the Borg. With all that, I like the idea of the massive Marines and how they are all geared to take on a classic Star Trek party. If they are talking about a 9th chapter Primarch they should have mention this too.I'm not sure I like the Primarch title thing. They use Primarch Hadrian's title the Codex in the fluff.
