I contacted Lian Li's tech support team last Wednesday to request their help on this issue but have yet to hear back from them. Furthermore, when I disconnect the controller from my RGB and system fan headers, leaving only the USB connection, my UNI fans run in exactly the same way (medium fan speed with rainbow lighting), which is additional evidence that my motherboard is not recognizing the controller properly. This appears to be the default state of operation for these fans, but I can't change their speed or lighting because L-Connect and my BIOS report they are not plugged in. When the controller is connected to my motherboard's USB, RGB, and system fan headers, my UNI fans (7 120mm fans and 2 140mm fans) run perpetually at medium speed and with rainbow lighting. The issue is that the controller does not seem recognized by my motherboard (a B550 Vision D-P).
I would be extremely grateful if someone in this subreddit tries to help me resolve an issue with my UNI fan controller.
